PROJECT DETAILS
- Service Entrance Medium Voltage Switchgear
Several extended power outages and many brief outages due to storms and failing outdated electrical equipment, necessitated Moorestown Medical Center to perform an electrical consolidation of their existing electrical infrastructure and utility service.
BC Energy aggregated three separate utility services down to two and tied each service to a new 15 kV service entrance switchgear. After months of investigations, the BC Energy team developed a solution to tie both utility services, the turbine, and the seven new transformers together at the new service entrance gear via the existing spare underground conduits, two new 800-foot underground duct banks and four miles of 15 kV cables.
