Penn State Hershey Medical Center – Arc Flash Study

To accommodate Penn State Hershey Medical Center’s new 7.5 MW CHP plant, a campus-wide power system study was conducted to obtain an up-to-date representation of the power flow, arc flash level, and protection coordination of the hospital’s electrical equipment. Power system studies are highly recommended for code compliance and to maintain safe and reliable operation of the hospital power system.
